Artspace takes pulse of arts community

The Dan River Region’s arts scene is a fragmented mosaic littered in pieces throughout the area, lacking leadership and the will to grow.
That was the perspective of Artspace, an arts community consultant group that provides assistance in the fostering of arts. Artspace recently compiled its findings on the state and the possibilities of the River District’s art scene after spending numerous focus sessions learning the lay of the land.
