Smart Beginnings to receive $2.9 million grant for next five years

Smart Beginnings Danville Pittsylvania County announced Friday that the Danville Regional Foundation will award a $2.9 million grant for the next five years.
Friday’s announcement at the Job One business leaders’ breakfast ensures the long-term maintenance of the goals to improve education rankings in Danville, Pittsylvania County and the greater Southside region. Smart Beginnings focuses its efforts on children from birth to age eight.
