Collaborative aims to unite churches to tackle community issues

The initiative has been awarded a $24,500 Make-It-Happen grant from the Danville Regional Foundation. The grant’s specific purpose is to determine the feasibility of the faith-based collaborative made up of all of the churches and faith leaders in the region.

The collaboration will be initiated at a January conference inviting all faith community members and leaders to connect. The conference will consider the possibilities of working together to reduce barriers in the Dan River Region.
